Normally I just press control alt and delete and kill the POS software. To fix your problem you can do two things, plug in a keyboard to the POS terminal and based on which software you use, you want to get to see your windows desktop. It is IBM that I have to say is a real POS (and I dont mean point of sale) LOL. Actually they are very good machines but sometimes you get issues like that. If the mouse, and other items are not working, I would do a couple of test but will be inclined to say you have a bad motherboard just speaking based on how many times I have seen that happen on Asus POS terminals. Something might have caused it to uninstall the hardware. Are all those other things plugged in working? If they are then it is safe to say it is a setting in windows that we need to update.
